Priyanka confirms her presence for White House Correspondents Dinner with Barack Obama
Priyanka Chopra must be on the cloud 9 with the kind of appreciation she is grabbing, soon after her famous show ‘Quantico’. The show has not only made her a household name but even given her a ticket to Hollywood studios. Priyanka, who recently finds her name in the Time’s list of 100 most influential people in the world, has already been invited to attend White House Correspondents’ dinner. She was uncertain to make it for the programme but now she has given her green signal for the event.
She is currently very busy with her work commitments. In the recent past, she already said that it wouldn’t be possible for her to make it in the White House event. She is working continuously for the second season of ‘Quantico’ and for her debut Hollywood movie ‘Baywatch’. Due to this, she wasn’t able to make up her mind for this grand event. Now it seems like she has convinced her directors to postpone the shooting dates or may be given some other reasons. But the gorgeous diva is set to be a part of the White House Correspondents’ dinner.
Priyanka took to twitter to confirm her presence for the Dinner event. She is currently shooting for ‘Baywatch’, in Los Angeles with co-actors Zac Efron and Dwayne Johnson.

The event will be held on this Saturday, where US President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama will also be present along with the celebrities. The other actors which will also grace the events are Rosario Dawson, Will Smith, Alan Cumming, Miles Teller, Kendall Jenner, Kerry Washington and Neve Campbell. The non-profit White House Correspondents’ Association, traditionally hosts this annual dinner to raise money for journalism scholarships.
It’s a proud moment for Priyanka fans to see her along with Barack Obama.
