Priyanka Chopra received lots of appreciation for playing a negative role in 2004 blockbuster Aitraaz. After 14 years of the film, director Subhash Ghai is reportedly working on the sequel of the movie. The latest buzz doing in the industry suggests that the showman of Bollywood has approached Priyanka to feature in the sequel.

A source close to the film was quoted saying to Mumbai Mirror, “It’s a new story with a new title. Subhash Ghai has already had a word with Priyanka Chopra and the two have discussed the film. She loves the idea of a sequel to a film which won her accolades for her performance in a negative role and is excited to feature in the second instalment of the franchise. She is keen to collaborate with Ghai again and has even told him that she will try working around her dates.”

Priyanka Chopra will take a final call once she comes back to India from New York after completing her schedule of Quantico 3. The same report further added that Subhash Ghai has been working on the script of Aitraaz sequel for last two years. If everything goes according to plan, the movie will start rolling by the end of this year.

During the shooting of Aitraaz, rumors of Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra’s affairs started doing the rounds. The rumors died down pretty soon, but it is highly unlikely that both of them will share the screen space again.
