Priyanka Chopra says that when she said Yes to Nick Jonas she wasn’t sure if it was right but she eventually said Yes! She said, “I’ve known him for two years. I didn’t think that this is what it (would’ve) turned out to be, and that is maybe that is my fault, I judged a book by its cover. When I actually started dating Nick, he surprised me so much. I call him ‘Old Man Jonas.’ That is my name for him, ‘OMJ.’ She added, “He’s such an old soul, extremely smart, so good for me because he grounds me so much. I’m a wild child, I do whatever I want whenever I want and he always supports me.”

On talking about how well he acknowledges her efforts and work and how much he appreciates and admires her for her work, she recalled an incident when she was out with her friends and had to drop several hints to cancel a meeting. “I said it twice. I said it thrice. And finally he pulled me aside and was like, “Look, I’m not stupid, I know what you’re trying to do. But I will never be the one that tells you to cancel work because I know how hard you work to be where you are. If you could have cancelled the meeting, you would have done it. I was like, this is the first time anyone has ever done that for me, the first person who gave me credit for what I have done.”
