Salman Khan is currently busy in the promotion of his next film Race 3, which is slated to release on June 15, 2018. In the meantime, his next film, Bharat is making lots of headlines nowadays. Directed by Ali Abbas Zaffar, the movie already features Priyanka Chopra and Disha Patani. Now, it has also added veteran actress Tabu. Yes, you read it, right! Tabu has joined the already star-studded period drama.
Her role is still kept under wraps, but she’ll have a very important part to play in the development of the movie. Director Ali Abbas Zaffar took to Instagram to announce the news by sharing a picture with a caption, â€œFinally it’s happening , so #excited#to#work#with#you @tabutiful @bharat_thefilm.â€
Talking about Tabu’s addition, Ali Abbas Zafar told in a statement, â€œI’ve been a huge fan of Tabu’s work and always wished to work with her. After several meetings with her, I’m happy it is finally happening with Bharat and am looking forward to the shootâ€
Salman and Tabu have previously worked together in films Jeet, Hum Saath Saath Hain, Biwi No. 1 and Jai Ho.
After the stupendous success of Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai, Salman and Ali are all set to recreate the magic on the silver screen once again.
Coming back to the movie, Bharat is an upcoming Bollywood period drama film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Atul Agnihotri. The movie features Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Disha Patani, Tabu and Sunil Grover. The movie is inspired by 2014 Korean film Ode To My Father. The movie will be shot in Punjab, Delhi, Spain, and Abhu Dhabi. It is scheduled to release on Eid 2019.
