One wink and Priya Prakash Varrier became an overnight sensation. Since then, the actress has been in the eyes of social media and fans. Her debut movie is yet to release, still, she has become popular among the public. Even before the release of her movie, she has got offers for brand endorsements. The 18-year-old girl has appeared in several brands and has been trolled. Celebs can’t get away from controversies and Priya has also become a victim of trolls.
In an interaction with Malayalam women’s magazine, Vanitha, Priya expressed her unhappiness with trollers. She was recently compared with another actress Nazriya Nazim who made a huge comeback with hit movie ‘Koode’. Priya said that there is no point in comparing as she is yet to prove her acting and she is really sad that without seeing her performance people are judging her and comparing with another actress.
Also, there were reports that a commercial done by Priya for a chocolate brand incurred a loss. There was news that the company has withdrawn it because of her bad acting. On this Priya received lots of criticisms and trolls. Priya said that when she contacted the company about their loss, they said that the commercial made a huge profit.
Priya also added that her reaction to the Rahul Gandhi’s wink was overstressed by media. She said that her statement on Rahul Gandhi’s wink was twisted and presented in front of the public.
