Prez Kovind, PM Modi condole untimely demise of acting prodigy Irrfan Khan
From being an impeccable actor to a noble human being, Bollywood’s iconic actor Irrfan Khan left to heavenly abode on Wednesday, leaving a void in the hearts of his fans and admirers. Irrfan’s funeral took place at the Versova graveyard in the presence of close family members and friends.
Mumbai Police made necessarily arrangements outside Versova graveyard to make sure that social distancing during the lockdown be followed. Around 20 people including the Pan Singh Tomar director Tigmanshu Dhulia were present during the funeral ceremony.
Not only his Bollywood colleagues but political leaders too condoled the untimely demise of versatile actor Irrfan Khan. From President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah to Congress President Rahul Gandhi, everyone took to the micro-blogging website Twitter to pay their last tributes.
