Geeta Kapoor, who has essayed an important role in Pakeezah movie, is currently in the hospital due to poor health. According to reports, Geeta was being treated badly by her son Raja, who left her in the hospital. When the news spread into the B-Town, Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) member Ashoke Pandit has come to support the veteran.

When a leading daily approached Geeta Kapoor, she said, “He used to beat me up as I did not approve of his philandering ways. He would give me food once in four days, and sometimes, even lock me up for several days. I was not ready to go to an old-age home, that’s why he planned all this. He deliberately kept me hungry and I fell ill. Then, he got me admitted and fled.”
The 58-year actress is currently in the SRV Hospital in Goregaon, Mumbai. It was the same hospital where Raja arrived with her mother. Soon he left the hospital in a pretext to go to the ATM for the money purpose. But even after hours, he didn’t return to to the hospital. As her mother condition was serious so without delay the doctors treated her. Now its almost a month and there is no detail about her son or her daughter Pooja. Well, the major concern was her bill amount which was around 1.5 lakhs.
