As we know movie “Padmavat” was going to be released on 1st Dec But due to certain reasons like On-going political protest, BJP Elections Delay, CBFC returns copy back to Bhansali, Submission of the film 68 days prior the release, threat to the makers it got delayed.
The day when Padmavat’s trailer got released it started with a controversy and it still goes on. Earlier the movie got release date on 1st December 2017 but it didn’t released because of certain reasons. According to sources the movie get release date on 25th Jan 2018.
The movie title renamed from “Padmavati” to “Padmavat”. The trailer got eye popping response, everyone thinks there are some critical scenes between Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh due to which the movie got rejected by Censor Board. Anurag Kashyap went to Bombay High Court, Nihalani caused an uproar when he asked for 94 cuts in Udta Punjab, including the demand for dropping the word ‘Punjab in 2016.
In that case of “Udta Punjab” producers Ekta Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap went to Bombay High Court to get their film cleared. However, it is not the same case with “Padmavat” it has many scenes which has to be cut. In “Udta Punjab” it had 94 cuts but in “Padmavat” it has 300 cuts.
Finally the movie gets release date on 25th January 2018 with 300 cuts in the movie, the movie got green light from censor board.
