Orlando bloom punched Justin Bieber

TMZ reports that Justin Bieber and actor Orlando Bloom got into a tense confrontation at a bar in Ibiza last night, with eyewitnesses claiming that Bloom even threw a punch at the 20-year-old singer. There are varying accounts as to what exactly happened, no doubt influenced by each eyewitness’s personal opinion of Justin Bieber, but what is certain is that Bieber approached Bloom, things got tense, Bloom threw a punch, and Bieber left.

This altercation didn’t arise out of nowhere. The history between Bieber and Bloom goes back to 2012, when Bieber was seen “getting close” with Bloom’s then-wife Miranda Kerr at a Victoria’s Secret fashion show in New York, where Bieber was performing. In what could be seen as retaliation (though it’s possibly just a coincidence), Bloom had been spotted earlier this year hanging out with Bieber’s sort-of girlfriend (I can’t tell anymore) Selena Gomez. Needless to say, the two probably hated each other before either of them set foot in that bar.

When Bieber approached Bloom, the Lord of the Rings star reportedly ignored him, but this is where things get fuzzy. Some report Bieber asking, “What’s your problem,” to which Bloom replied, “Miranda,” and then attempting to punch Bieber as he walked away. Others report Bieber telling Bloom that he had sex with Miranda Kerr, which prompted Bloom to take a shot at him. The crowd reportedly applauded when Bloom took a swing at Bieber, which seems about right.

So far, the only acknowledgement of the incident that Bieber has made was a brief posting of a photo of Miranda Kerr to his Instagram account, which was quickly taken down.
