An open letter to ‘Udta Punjab’ fame Alia Bhatt from a Bihari girl
Bollywood chirpy actress Alia Bhatt, who portrayed the role of a Bihari Migrant in ‘Udta Punjab’, are getting accolades from all across the country. It was Shahid Kapoor and Alia who came out strong from the ‘Udta Punjab’ trailer as their characters look so genuine. Movie buffs from all over the world praising the trailer and especially Alia. But there is a girl, who actually hails from Bihar, is not at all happy with Alia’s portrayal as a Bihari girl in the film.
The girl from the Bihar State got so upset with Alia’s character and tone that she penned down an open letter for her. If you take a look at the letter, you will found that she is very upset with Alia. She feels that Alia is trying too hard to portray the role which is shameful.

‘Udta Punjab’ is a serious film and based on the real life situation of one of the remotest area of Punjab, which is severely affected by drugs. Kareena Kapoor Khan is also a part of the movie, essaying the character of a doctor. On the other side, actor Diljit Dosanjh is portraying a Punjabi police cop role. Directed by ‘Ishqiya’ fame Abhishek Chaubey, the film is scheduled for a June release.
