The bonding between a brother and a sister is simply unique and is beyond any words. The relationship becomes more important as there is a festival called “Raksha Bandhan” dedicated for the sibling love and on this day rakhi is tied by sister on brother’s wrist. Rakhi is basically a sacred thread of protection embellished with the love and affection of a sister for her brother. It is celebrated on the full moon day of the Hindu month of Shravana in India.

On Sunday, the bond of sibling love, Raksha Bandhan, was celebrated in India and across the globe and our Bollywood siblings also shared lovely moments.

Social media was jammed with pictures of the B-Town sisters tying the rakhi to their brothers’ wrists, applying tilak on their forehead and moving the thali over their face and a sweet to complete the rituals, while the boys hand over a gift and promise to protect them forever.

The cutest moments was reserved by Taimur Ali Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s son. The adorable picture on the internet was sister Sara Ali Khan tying rakhi to Taimur and there was also some super adorable moments with his cousin as well, Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu’s daughter Inaaya Naumi, with the latter giving him a rakhi as if ‘to eat’ and also tried to touch his tilak.

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt, who is often known as ‘daughter’ to mentor Karan Johar, tied the rakhi to his son Yash Johar.

Actor Shah Rukh Khan shared a lovely snap of his rakhi with a message to respect a woman, which will make one ‘inspired, tender-hearted, and morally strong’, and kids, AbRam and Suhana, though it’s most likely a throwback picture as the teenager is abroad for studies.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s daughter Aaradhya also tied rakhi to her cousins, sons of the actress’ brother Aditya where his wife Shrima Rai is also seen.
