Shruti and her sister Akshara Haasan were born to Kaman Hassan and Sarika before marriage. And now Shruti is going to follow the footsteps of her parents.
Recently, Shruti attended the 70th Cannes Film Festival as a special guest of British novelist Neil Gaiman. She was looking stunning in the black satin dress. She also promoted her upcoming film Sangamithra in the festival.

On the work front, Shruti is gearing up for the release of Behen Hogi Teri which has Rajkummar Rao opposite her. The movie is slated to release on 26th May.
