Recently the movie ‘Neerja’ has been released. it’s riding high on success and so is the lead actress Sonam Kapoor. The movie is receiving the critics acclaim not only from her fans but as well as from Bollywood fraternity. Even the sports-persons are appreciating it. The movie is based on a true event that occurred on 5th Sept, 1986 at Karachi airport in Pakistan. Sonam is playing the role of Neerja Bhanot, the flight attendant, who sacrificed her life to save 360 passengers during the hijack.
