Now under NCB drug scanner, Karishma Prakash-Jaya Saha were quarantine buddies
The drug scandal has been one of the biggest burning issues of this year and has even left behind the Coronavirus pandemic, leaving people searching for updates on Sushant Singh Rajput death case and which celebrity name has now cropped up in drug angle linked to it. As almost all the big stars of Bollywood including, actresses Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, and Dia Mirza are reportedly making headlines for their connections in the on-going drug probe, a new angle has also emerged leaving everyone in shock.
As per recent reports, Deepika Padukone’s talent manager Karishma Prakash and Rhea Chakraborty’s talent manager Jaya Saha were good friends, working in the same firm KWAN talent management company, and furthermore had spent their quarantine together.
Where Rhea and Deepika’s WhatsApp chats have revealed about their alleged involvement in drugs, their manager’s Instagram profile, which she has been switched to private now, also shows they were connected way before this drug angle. In one of the posts Karishma had wished Jaya n her Birthday and had also called Saha her quarantine partner while uploading a couple of pictures together.
She wrote, “Happy Jaya Jayanti !! ( I hope this catches on) from being Boss to BFF, travel / holiday buddy, confidant, sister and Now quarantine roommate, there is no part of my life that doesn’t include you and I wouldn’t have it any other way I love you Jayzee you are and always will be the OG Boss lady !!!”
To note, Rhea’s talent manager Jaya Saha, who had come under NCB scanner after her chats with the ‘Jalebi’ actress showed her telling Rhea to add few drops of CBD oil in Sushant’s drink and wait for 15-20 minutes to let it kick-in, had reportedly confessed to procuring CBD oil for Bollywood stars like Shraddha Kapoor, Rhea, producer Madhu Mantena, Sushant Singh Rajput and others during her two days of NCB questioning. On September 23, NCB summoned Madhu and Jaya together and questioned them about their alleged drug-chats that were accessed by the drug investigating agency.
Meanwhile, NCB has issued summons to Deepika Padukone, who will appear before the probe agency on September 25 for questioning. While, Rakul Preet Singh and Rhea’s designer friend Simone Kambhatta will appear before NCB on September 24, whereas Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan are reportedly asked to reach NCB Mumbai head office on September 26. So far, the Narcotics agency has arrested prime accused in SSR’s death case and his live-in partner Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik, late actor’s house manager Samuel Miranda, staffer Dipesh Sawant and 10 drug-peddlers under several NDPS charges.
