Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi is the dream project of Kangana Ranaut. The movie is a historical film based on the life of the queen of Jhansi. It marks the directorial debut of popular South Indian director Krish. The movie is being produced by Zee Studios.
The movie is currently shooting, which started in May this year. One shocking news of the film is that there is no male actor opposite Kangana in the movie.
According to the reports, no mainstream male actor wants to work with Kangana after her ugly battle with Hrithik Roshan. There is even a cold war between Shahid Kapoor and Kangana after Rangoon.
During the promotion of Rangoon, Kangana had said that it is hard to kiss Shahid in his thick mustache look in the movie.
