Nirdosh’ starring Arbaaz Khan along with Manjari Phadnis, Ashmit Patel, Maheck Chahal and Mukul Dev is a mystery suspense thriller directed by Subroto Paul and Pradeep Rangwani.
Plot:
The film follows the story of a media professional Shinaya (Manjari Phadnis) who gets embroiled in a murder mystery and is held a prime suspect in the murder of a cruel, abusive and lecherous man named Rana (Mukul Dev). Shinaya is further interrogated by a tough cop and brutal Crime Branch officer Lokhande played effortlessly by Arbaaz Khan. An affair between Shinaya’s husband Gautam (Ashmit Patel) and her paying guest Ada (Mahek Chahal), who is an aspiring actress and model sets an interesting twist in this whodunit tale. With Gautam confessing to the crime, it is left for Lokhande to find out who the real culprit of the murder is. What follows is a thrilling and suspenseful turn of events with lots of twists and turns before we can find who the real murderer is.
Performance
Among the acting performances, actor Mukul Dev takes the cake. His performance as the dangerously creepy man will leave you stunned and dread the character he portrays on screen. He lends a very natural authenticity to the role and plays the character with utmost finesse. Actor Manjari Fadnis justifies the role given to her and does what is needed of her for the role. Mahek Chahal as the sexy siren lends the hotness quotient needed for the character and scintillates in her bold and sexy avatar as the aspiring model and actress. Actor Arbaaz Khan as the tough police cop is something we haven’t seen him lately. He gives a restrained performance and plays his part with ease lending a certain novelty to the character of Lokhande. The story which has been layered with numerous twists and turns taking the audiences on a thrilling ride has been well written and executed brilliantly by a tight screenplay. You’ll be left guessing throughout the film as to who the real culprit is and that’s the plus point of the film. The cinematography is on point with the scenes crisply edited setting the pace for a gripping climax.
Verdict
‘Nirdosh’ needs to be watched for its tightly woven mysterious plot which is sure to have the audiences on the edge of their seats and for the gritty and excellent performance by actor Mukul Dev.
