Nila Madhab Panda penning a movie on Dr Kalam starring Amitabh Bachchan

Director Nila Madhab Panda, who shot to fame with I Am Kalam, the National Award winning film which paid homage to the late former President, is all set to direct a biopic on the great educationist, thinker and visionary.

Says Panda, “Now that Dr Kalam is no more, it’s very important that his message be carried forward. I will start work on my film very soon.” Panda intends to do rigorous research on the topic. “I need on board a scholar who has done a lot of research on Dr Kalam.” The big question now is, who will play Dr Kalam? Only one name comes to his mind says Nila Madhab Panda. “It has to be Mr Bachchan. Only he has the fan following, clout and gravitas to play a visionary like Dr Kalam.”
