Newly wed Poonam Pandey ‘Not in the right state of mind’ after hubby Sam molests, assaults her!
Newly wedded model-turned-actress Poonam Pandey within 12 days of her marriage with photographer Sam Bombay, filed a police complaint against him for molesting, threatening, and assaulting her, which later landed Sam in police custody.
The actress had tied the knot with her long time boyfriend Sam Bombay, on September 1, in a very hush wedding due to the Covid-19 outbreak. But it wasn’t for long that the actress once again shocked everyone with the news of molestation and assaults charges against her husband Sam. Poonam, who is currently shooting for a film in Goa, filed a police complaint in Canacona police station against her husband in Goa after 12 days of their wedding.
According to the inspector Tukaram Chavan of Canacona police station, “Pandey filed a complaint late Monday night claiming her husband Sam Bombay had molested her and threatened her with dire consequences after assaulting her. He was arrested.”
Upon being asked about the charges she has made on her husband Sam by the media, Poonam, however, confirmed the news but refrained from talking about it. The actress said, “Can we talk about this later as I don’t want to talk about it right now?” When Poonam was insisted to tell what exactly went wrong between the two, she said, “I am not in the right state of mind. I will talk to you soon and answer all the queries.”
To note, Poonam and Sam had entered wedlock after 2-years of live-in relationship and had announced the news of their wedding on social media on September 10 by sharing multiple pictures from her wedding ceremony. It all seemed good between the two when they were also spotted at Mumbai Airport, on September 16, reportedly leaving for their honeymoon. But soon after, on September 21, as Poonam leveled the charges of molestation and assaults against Sam the whole internet was left in shock.
