Netizens Trolled Salman And Bhansali For Casting Alia In Inshallah, They Asked If She Is Playing His Daughter
The Internet is buzzing ever since the news of Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali reunion came out. After all, Salman is collaborating with Bhansali after 20 long years in upcoming romance film Inshallah. However, what has made everyone bit curious is the casting of Alia Bhatt in the female lead.
Salman Khan took to micro-blogging platform Twitter to announce the news. Sultan actor tweeted, “It’s been 20 years but I am glad Sanjay and I are finally back in his next film, Inshallah. Looking forward to work with Alia and inshallah we will all be blessed on this journey.”

Alia Bhatt also took to Twitter to share her excitement about the film, as she wrote, “Dream with your eyes wide open they say & I did. Sanjay Sir and Salman Khan are magical together & I can’t wait to join them on this beautiful journey called “Inshallah” ❤”

Inshallah marks the first collaboration of Alia Bhatt with ace director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, whereas the fourth collaboration of Salman with the director. Salman and SLB worked together in “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam”, which released way back in 1999. However, Salman did an extended cameo in Saawariya (2007).
Coming back to Inshallah, netizens are not too happy with the news of Alia Bhatt playing the female lead. Soon, people dug up an old photo of baby Alia with Salman and started trolling Salman and Bhansali. First of all, look at the picture down below:

Alia Bhatt is almost 27 years younger than Salman Khan. This may be the reason why people started asking Bhansali if she is playing Salman’s daughter. It is not a new thing in Bollywood, as we have seen male superstars working with way younger female actress multiple times.
