Some of his works are already known by many, like ‘ye usika khat hai’, ‘jinki jabaan pe kaash hai’. He also had various collaborations with Rapperiya Baalam (well-known rapper and music producer), Amit Sana (runner up of Indian Idol 1), Ravindra Upadhyay (channel V super singer) and many artist nationwide. He then made an album ‘Maahi Ve’ with Rapperiya Baalam. This is the first album from songster which released on Oct 24, 2012 worldwide. He always keeps surprising us with such new songs that are heart touching.
Recently, he has written few songs for Bollywood, such as ‘Tum Nahin’ (Aashiqui 2, 2013), ‘Tum Mile Toh’ (Tum Mile Toh, 2014), ‘Hasi’ (Hamari Adhuri Kahaani, 2015). ‘Gumnaam Hai Koi’ (1920 London, 2016).
Kunal Verma belongs to a Rajasthani middle class family and has good command on Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi. He started writing since he was a college student. At a very young age he experienced various facets of life. He got mentors and supporters to guide him in his journey, who encouraged him to put some thought on his writing and publishing it. After which he registered more than 500 songs and ghazals.
When asked about his inspirations, he mentioned that there were a large number of people who supported him and not just one single person. His madness was always cheered and made him stand distinct in the crowd.
He says “ My aim before I die is I never want to die”.
