Talking about the role, Nawaz said, “My role is of contract killer ‘Babumoshai’. He is different so his expression of love is different too. In ‘Gangs of Wasseypur 2’, my role was of a shy person who asked for permission to hold his girlfriend’s hand. Here ‘Babumoshai’ is fearless. He romances on the basis of the gun.”
Talking about the dark side of the Bollywood, he commented over Nepotism. He told, “I don’t think nepotism exists in Bollywood otherwise I could not have been in this position today. Good work and talent may take the time to get recognized but always earns respect.”
Helmed by Kushan Nandy the action-thriller movie also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Bidita Bag, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Roopa Ganguly, Tota Roy Chowdhury and Biswajit Chakraborty in titular roles. The final release date is yet to be announced.
Overall, we are all excited to see Nawazuddin in the dark and edgy role.
