Namaste England Poster Shows Wrong Indian Map, Got Brutally SLAMMED, Forcing Them To Change It
After making their debut together in Ishaqzaade, Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra are reuniting for the upcoming rom-com Namaste England, which is scheduled to hit the theaters this Dussehra. The makers of the movie have released the posters of the film a few days ago, which has created a huge controversy.
The makers of Namaste England got brutally slammed for showing the distorted map of India in their first poster. First of all, check out the poster down below.
If you look closely at the Namaste England poster, you can find their mistake. In the Indian map shown in the poster, they have excluded the Aksai Chin region of Jammu And Kashmir. It is one of the two disputed areas between China and India since 1962. It is part of India, which has been occupied by China illegally.
The distortion of the map of India is a criminal act under the Criminal Law Amendment Act, 1961, which is also a violation of Nation Map Policy 2005.
As soon as the posters of Namaste England was released, people started slamming the makers for the showing the distorted map of India. Check out some of the reactions down below.

Looks like makers of Namaste England are planning for a China release and so cut off the Aksai Chin region from India map to not offend Chinese people. pic.twitter.com/DG3qlEd0Op
