Munnabhai MBBS Actor, Vishal Thakkar Booked For Raping A TV Actress
A case has been registered against the actor Vishal Thakkar who was last seen with Sanjay Dutt in Munnabhai MBBS, under relevant sections of rape and other offences yesterday in the Charkop Police Station.
The actor has allegedly been booked for raping a television actress, said the police.The police further said that the victim, an actress who has worked in many TV serials, has alleged that the accused raped her at his house without divulging any further details.
Thakkar has done many small roles in the movies like Munna Bhai MBBS, Chandni Bar etc.
An FIR has been registered against the actor under IPC sections 376 (rape), 420 (cheating), 323, 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) and 506 (criminal intimidation), they said.
Vishal has not been arrested yet.
