Mukesh Khanna wants to know who spotted ‘cooler’ in Mahabharat
The 1988 television series ‘Mahabharat’ is in the news and in trolls on social mediums these days for an extremely hilarious reason. Actor Mukesh Khanna, who played Bhishma Pitamah in the epic series, was seen sitting infront of an air-cooler apparently during one of the shots.
Twitteratis took no time to troll the makers of the show and floated memes on it. Admitting to have used a cooler on the sets during the shoot, legendary actor Mukesh Khanna, however, said that such a glaring mistake from BR Chopra is a strange thing as he was very much careful with the making and editing of Mahabharat.
Khanna also was curious to know who floated this picture on Twitter and who spotted it. He said, “I had been hearing about a picture of mine from the sets of Mahabharat going viral where I am shown sitting in front of a cooler, for the past few days. I want to know yeh picture aayi kahan se and secondly yeh kisne spot kiya?”
India’s first superhero as in Shaktimaan, Mukesh Khanna admitted that his heavy costumes and intense beard made him feel too hot and he had to use air-cooler despite the shooting venue at film city was air conditioned.
He said, “We were shooting in Film City which was fully air conditioned. However, since I had such heavy costumes and to top it all a long beard, which I had to wear most of the day, I used to feel extremely hot. Especially because of the beard. So, I requested BR Chopra ji to allow me to use an air-cooler. The beard was such that after shots I used to sweat a lot and it used to irritate me.”
