‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’s First Song Out!

This year has a lot of exciting movies lined up, but there is one in particular which has gotten everybody waiting with immense excitement. We are talking about M.S. Dhoni’s biopic, which will see Sushant Singh Rajput as our very own Captain Cool. The film claims to throw light on the unknown aspects of Dhoni’s life and that is something we just can’t wait for.

The trailer of MS Dhoni: The Untold Story didn’t leave us satiated, it left us intrigued. Starring Sushant Singh Rajput as Dhoni, it shows us the other side of the Indian cricket captain. The boy who left football for cricket, the teenager who is obsessed with cricket and the young man who is not satisfied with being another face in the crowd.

If you’ve been as pumped as us for this movie, then here’s something that surely will double up your excitement levels. The first song, ‘Besabriyaan’ from MS Dhoni: The Untold Story just released and it gave us goosebumps-level-feels.

It features the young, school-going Dhoni, juggling between exams and cricket. The video gets repetitive after a certain point of time, in a bid to show the singular routine Dhoni practiced everyday, for a major chunk of his life.

The song is a perfect harmony to the beginning of Dhoni’s glorious career and it leaves us humming the tune, towards the end. Every piece of news that trickles down from the film’s sets and promotions is only strengthening the fact that there was much more to Dhoni’s life before he became India’s most successful captain. And going by the pictures, lead actor Sushant Singh Rajput has left no stone unturned to get into the skin of the character.

Dhoni spent his childhood in a small town, worked as a railway ticket collector, abided by the rules of his father, yet desired of representing the country on the cricket field. The Indian skipper has indeed come a long way, which is exactly the story we will see in the film. ‘Besabriyaan’ is the perfect representation of his hardships, and how despite a routine life, the cricketer did not stop dreaming big. The song has the perfect essence!

The sports biopic also stars Anupam Kher, Rajesh Sharma, Bhoomika Chawla, Kiara Advani and Disha Patani. Directed by Neeraj Pandey, it will release on September 30.
