Sushant Singh Rajput starrer movie ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ has finally hit the bull’s eye on Friday and raked up over 20 crores at the Box-Office. Well, we were sure enough that the movie will rake up in between 18 to 20 Crore and Yes, Sushant has hit the sixer with the collection. At latest, the first-day collection is out and Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s Biopic collected Rs. 21.30 Crore at the Box-Office, which is above our expectation.
As we all know, the film has the widest Bollywood release of all time, released in 4,500 screens in 60 countries. Now, we can say that 59 Countries as Pakistan has banned Dhoni’s Biopic in their country. Anyways, Dhoni’s Helicopter shot and his winning moments in 2011 World Cup is something that audience loved it. Sushant Singh Rajput hard work for nearly 2 years has finally paid well when critics and audience praised the movie in a big way.
So, with the mega collection of Rs. 21.30 Crore on the first day, the film has become the second highest one-day opener of 2016. The first is ‘Sultan’, which raked up 36.54 Crore and third is Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Fan’ with the total of Rs. 19.20 Crore.
Overall, the film’s collection will be bigger on Saturday and Sunday at the Box-Office. The way film has earned on the very first day, it is on its way to being the second highest grosser of 2016.
Directed by ‘A Wednesday’ fame Neeraj Pandey, the film also stars Kiara Advani, Disha Patani, Anupam Kher and Bhumika Chawla in titular roles.
