Mouni Roy Gave Befitting Reply To A Guy Who Alleged Gold Director Reema Kagti Harassed The Actress

#MeToo movement has been a positive influence on a number of people. It gives strength to women who have been wronged before, allowing them to share their story to the entire world. Several sexual predators have been identified in all fields including Bollywood.

Actress Tanushree Dutta started this strong movement when she accused Nana Patekar of sexual harassment during the shooting of Horn Ok Please 10 years ago. Since then, several biggies like Alok Nath, Sajid Khan, Vikas Bahl, and several others have been accused of sexual misconduct by many women.

Several other celebrities are supporting all the women and slammed all the offenders. Some stars have also vowed to never work with the offenders. One such celebrity is Reema Kagti, who is known for directing Talaash and Gold.

Reema has vowed to never work with those whose name came out in #MeToo movement and has been accused of sexual harassment. However, one Twitter users attacked her claiming that she has sexually harassed Mouni Roy during Gold.

The tweet reads, “Oh come on with this hypocrisy!! Reema Kagti has herself been known to s*xually harass Roymouni during Gold movie! The blinds r all over the net! N she is part of this?? 🤔🤔”

Even before Reema Kagti could have responded to this Tweet, Mouni Roy took to Twitter to clarify that she has not been harassed by anyone while shooting of Gold.

Mouni tweeted, “I was not harassed on the set of Gold by anyone. Director or otherwise. I wish this maligning would stop as it not only harassing me and Reema Kagti but also taking away from women that have truly been wronged.”

Mouni Roy is totally correct, one should not make any baseless allegations as it undermines the value of #MeToo movement.
