Mahabharatham is based on MT Vasudevan Nair’s award-winning book Randamoozham. The epic film will be made into two parts in English, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu. It will go on the floors in 2018 in Abu Dhabi. The first part of the film is expected to release in 2020 and the second part will be released later on. Mohanlal will be playing the character of Bheema who will narrate the film. No other actors have been finalised for the movie but many stars from both Bollywood and South industry are considered. Among them are Mammootty, Prithviraj, Mahesh Babu, Aishwarya Rai, Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas.

It will be directed by Shrikumar Menon and screenplay is done by MT.
We hope that this big budget project gets through all the hurdles and controversies and gets a smooth release.
