Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub is a Bollywood actor who is known for his work in the film Raanjhana and Tanu Weds Manu. Playing side hero roles in many film, the actor emerged as a talented and genuine actor winning appreciation from critics in the industry. His recent success came with Shahrukh Khan starrer Raees.
Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub was born and brought up in Delhi. He took a degree in Kirori Mal College in Delhi after which he went ahead to pursue his career in acting. He joined National School of Drama in Delhi wherein he learnt the valuable lessons in acting. The training helped him refine his acting skills and fetched him apt roles.
Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub’s first major break in Bollywood came in 2011 with the film No One Killed Jessica with Vidya Balan and Rani Mukherjee playing the lead roles. He played the role of the person who had murdered Jessica. His work fetched him lots of appreciation and he was reckoned among potential actors. Later in Mere Brother ki Dulhan and Jannat 2 he essayed significant roles with a touch of genuineness and subtlety that impressed the audience.
In 2013, he played the role of Murrari in Raanjhana. Murrari’s character was a loyal and close friend of Dhanush and there was no way that he would go unnoticed after this exemplary performance. He good run in Bollywood followed with films like Shahid and Maazi. Later he proved his acting skills again in Raja Natwarlal, Dolly ki Doli, Tanu Weds Manu 2, All is Well, Phantom and recently Raees.
Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub played the character of Sadiq in Raees. He shared screen with none other than Sharukh Khan and the much acclaimed actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The critics have hailed him as the next big character actor of Indian Cinema.
