Bollywood actress Minissha Lamba on Tuesday confirmed the news of her legal separation from her restaurateur husband, Ryan Tham. The actress however didn’t disclose the reason behind their split but told that they had been living in separate houses for a while now.
‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ star met Ryan back in 2013 at one of his night clubs in Juhu and the two of them started seeing each other. As per actress it was liking at first sight if not love and after dating for a few months, she knew that he was the one, “We met at his nightclub. He ignored me a couple of times. It was after a few weeks that we got talking at a friend’s place. I don’t know about love at first sight, but it was definitely liking at first sight. After I dated him for a few months, I knew he was the one.”
Later, in 2015 the two decided to take sacred vows and get married in a very low key wedding with only a few close friends and family members in attendance.
Minissha, however, didn’t reveal the reason behind their divorce but the actress confirmed that the legal procedure has come through, “Ryan and I have parted ways amicably. The legal separation has been done,” the actress refused to comment further as she wants her privacy to be respected.
According to insiders, the couple had not been getting along well recently, thus, putting an end to their 5-years-long marriage..
Minissha made her entery in Bollywood in 2005 with Shoojit Sircar’s romantic drama ‘Yahaan’. She was also seen in films like ‘Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd.’ (2007), ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ (2008), ‘Well Done Abba’ (2009), ‘Bheja Fry 2’ (2011) and was last seen in ‘Bhoomi’ (2017) starring Sanjay Dutt and Aditi Rao Hydari. She has also done a couple of television shows including ‘Tenali Rama’ and ‘Internet Wala Love’.
