Meri Pyaari Bindu Poor Box Office Collection On Day 1

Despite a Yash Raj Films, Meri Pyaari Bindu faces a hard time at the Box Office. The first-day collection response of Ayushmann Khurrana and Parineeti Chopra starrer movie is a poor one.
Made on an average budget of 22 crores, Meri Pyaari Bindu was promoted heavily by the makers. The movie received a mixed response from the critics and even fails to attract the cinema fans. The audience occupancy of the first day was 15 percent which was very low in terms of the first day. The film got a screen count of 750 which was lesser than the expected. All these factors have led the collection pretty low on the first day at the Box Office.

The film raked up Rs 1.75 crores at the Box Office, which was lower than the expectations. It was expected that the film will cross 10 crores on the first weekend but now it seems highly impossible. By looking at the first-day collection of Meri Pyaari Bindu, looks like it has lost the right track.

The other reasons for the below average collection are its clash with Sarkar 3 and Bahubali 2. Sarkar 3 got released on 1245 screens in India and it is giving a tough clash to Meri Pyaari Bindu. Inspite of that both the movies finding it hard to survive infront of Bahubali 2 storm. Till now, Bahubali 2 has completed 15 days at the Box Office and collected over 400 crores in Hindi version.
Talking about the movie, Parineeti Chopra said, “I just took a break for nine months in 2015 and that was because I was making my house and working on my fitness. After nine months, I signed ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu‘ and started shooting it. So, by the time you finish shooting and the film releases, it takes one more year.”
