Massive fire on Akshay Kumar’s Kesari sets in Wai just 10 days before the shoot wraps up, details inside

A joint venture by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films and Azure Entertainment film “Kesari” starring the Bollywood Khiladi, Akshay Kumar witnessed a tragic event 10 days before the shoot was to get over.

Massive fire spread out on the sets of the movie “Kesari” in the Wai district of Maharashtra where the shoot was going on for the climax portion of the movie.

While Akshay Kumar had left from the set post his shoot got over, the entire unit was still present at the location. The shoot was to get over in 10 days with only the climax part, showing The Battle of Saragarhi was being shot.

A source close to the film unit informed that a mistimed explosion led to this massive fire-spread on the set.

Major part of the set where the historic scenes were shot has been damaged and the shoot has been put on hold. The source further added, “Though, the explosion was a massive one, not a single person from the crew was injured.”

While Akshay had returned to Mumbai after shooting for his portions for the day, the leading actress of the film Parineeti Chopra is currently on a vacation in Australia. The big question now is whether the film unit shall be able to complete the remaining shoot in the scheduled period or not!
