However, his fans jumped into celebratory mode after Gangs of Wasseypur actor received Padma Shri recently. The Indian government has recognized his contribution by honoring him with fourth highest civilian award Padma Shri for Art. The president of India Ram Nath Kovind bestowed this award to him during a ceremony held in New Delhi on Saturday.
