Business Man Requests Refund For His Pixel 3, Google Delivers 10 Replacement Pixel 3 Phones
There are things that makes no sense, which makes us thinks how can that ever happen. It is even more unbelievable at a place like Google.
Google’s Pixel program has always resulted in uncanny experiences for both consumers and the company. A guy wanted to return his defective Pixel 3 unit, and wanted a refund for his trouble, instead ended up of getting 10 more units from Google. This left nearly $900 hanging with Google and the owner frustrated.
After receiving 10 more Pixel 3 smartphones, the man took to Reddit to narrate the shipping blunder by Google and hoping to get some resolution. The customer then ordered a new Pixel 3 of oink color but the dealer mistakenly sent him 10 Pixel 3 smartphones worth Rs 7 lakh and none of them was pink.
Cheetoz reached out to Google through Reddit, saying he would return the 9 extra Pixel 3 devices, but not until he gets his money back.
“If I don’t get the proper support here, I’ll going to attempt to return the extra 9 phones via $1000 COD,”.
While Google has sought some details to resolve the matter, but as of now, it is not clear if the phones have been returned.
The story was also covered by some big technology portals such as Android Police and others. A Google customer care executive got in touch with him within 24 hours of posting his story and processed the refund which he has already received.
