Biopic films are the latest trends in Bollywood. We are getting several biopic movies based on the life of popular sports personality and the actors. Biopic movies are also doing great business at the box office, after all, it gives the audience the insight of the aspiring life of popular and successful personalities. Sanjay Dutt’s biopic Sanju has taken the box office by storm by earning Rs. 200 Crore in just one week. It is sawing no sign of stopping either.
Now, Bollywood is all set to bring the life of social activist Malala Yousafzai on the silver screen. The 20-year-old girl is a prominent figure in the world. She is also the youngest person to win a Nobel Prize. She is the inspiration to many. After all, she has survived an attack by the Taliban just outside her school.
Malala is known for her human rights advocacy and has been advocating for the female educations. She survived a Taliban attack at the age of 16. She has ever since been advocating about the human rights. Her movement has also gained lots of attention internationally. She is also the most prominent citizen of Pakistan.
Malala completed her education in England and founded an NGO named Malala Fund for the education of girls. She also co-authored a book titled ‘I am Malala’. With all the things that have happened in her life, it is indeed a good thing that her biopic is being made.
Bollywood is making Malala’s biopic titled Gul Makai. The first poster of the film was released, which shows Malala holding a burning book and the inflamed school in the background. The movie has been shot in the Kashmir.
However, this biopic has irked Pakistani, as they can’t digest the fact that Bollywood is making a biopic on Malala. Check out some of the comments down below.
