We also heard that a sing between Mahira Khan and Shah Rukh was planned to be shot. But Mahira Khan can’t fly back to India and the entire cast and crew can’t go to Pakistan or any other location to shot. So, film makers without giving any second thought decided to not go ahead with the song. Other than this many other scenes have been chopped off.
The movie is majorly between Shah Rukh who is essaying the role of Raees Alam who is a bootlegger and ACP Ghulam Patel enacted by Nawazuddin Siddiqui. So, it was not difficult to chop off the role of Mahira Khan. Anyway, Mahira Khan will be only seen as the love interest of Raees Alam aka Shah Rukh Khan.
But we are sure that Raees was supposed to be the big ticket entry for Mahira Khan but post this and because of political confluences her fate in Bollywood is a big question mark.
