The MNS recently issued a diktat asking all Pakistani artistes to leave India within 48 hours, or else “face the consequences”. Their campaign also targeted two of Pakistan’s most famous faces in the Indian entertainment industry at the moment – Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan.
It emerged that incidentally, Fawad Khan had already left India a while ago: he is expecting his second child and wanted to be with his wife at this time.

However, Hindi films have run into trouble in Pakistan from time to time, with several being banned for content deemed contentious/sensitive.
