England Skipper Joe Root SLAMMED Shannon Gabriel, Says “Nothing Wrong With Being Gay”

The third Test match between host West Indies and England in St Lucia has been mired in controversies. England won the match by a huge 232 runs but West Indies won the series 2-1. After losing first two test matches against West Indies England bounced back in style in the third and final match.

England Skipper Joe Root scored 122 runs in the second innings helping his team a mammoth score of 361, which left West Indies with a massive target of 485 runs, which was never going to be easy. Ultimately, West Indies lost the game by 232 runs.

West Indies pacer Shannon Gabriel and Joe Root got into an ugly war of the words at the crease. In one of the television footage, Root can be heard saying to Gabriel that there is nothing wrong with being gay. Shannon was even warned by on-field umpires for using unethical and disrespectful languages during his verbal spat with England Skipper.

We still have no idea about what Shannon really told to Joe Root, as England cricketers have refused to talk about this any further. If reports have anything to go by, the situation has already been handled and closed.

West Indies Coach Richard Pybus has reportedly told that if anything is reported, the matter will be reviewed seriously.
