Madhubala, the actress mesmerized many with her ethereal beauty and charm and rose from humble beginnings to become the most captivating star in India. Madhubala was born on Valentine's Day (14 febuary 1939) as Mumtaz Jehan Dehlavi. Her father was Attaullah Khan was an employee at the Imperial Tobacco Company in Peshawar in British India. Madubala's mother was Ayesha Begum. She belonged to an orthodox middle-class family. Unfortunately, her father lost his job and that's when he moved to Mumbai with family search of some work. Her father Attaullah Khan stood between her and Dilip Kumar. Her father started to worry that if Madhubala gets married to Dilip Kumar, he would loose the financial cushion that Madhubala offered to Khan's entire family as she was the only sole breadwinner for the Attaullah Khan family. Madhubala Marriage With Kishor Kumar. Soon after Madhubala's break up with Dilip Kumar, She got married to actor/singer Kishore Kumar in year 1969. This was a marriage actually Kishore's parents never approved. Madhubala needed stability in her life and Kishore at that time needed financial help. According to report suggest Kishore Kumar married her only for financial support.
