Today is late actor Vinod Khanna’s birthday. On this auspicious occasion, his son Sakshi Khanna has written a heartfelt letter dedicated to his late father.
Entire nation along with Indian film industry went into shock on 27th April 2017, when legendary actor Vinod Khanna took his last breath. The actor enjoyed a very long and successful journey in Bollywood industry. The actor died at the age of 70 due to a prolonged illness.
Veteran Vinod Khanna would have been celebrating his 71st Birthday, If he was alive. But unfortunately, that is not the case. In order to celebrate the day, his son Sakshi Khanna wrote an emotional heartfelt letter dedicated to his father.
Sakshi Khanna posted the letter on his Instagram handle. He posted an old picture of his father along with the message. The message will make you cry, read yourself.
His Letter Reads:
“Death is nothing at all, I have only slipped into the next room I am I and you are you Whatever we were to each other, that we are still. Call me by my old familiar name, Speak to me in the easy way which you always used Put no difference in your tone, Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household world that it always was, Let it be spoken without effect, without the trace of shadow on it. Life means all that it ever meant. It it the same as it ever was, there is unbroken continuity. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, Just around the corner. All is well.” #HappyBirthdayDad”
