Late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has left his family and fans in distress by taking the extreme step of ending his life. His mysterious death has given space to several unanswered questions, few of which have been revealed by his father KK Singh in a media interview.
While speaking to Tadka Bollywood, the bereaved father broke his silence for the first time after Sushant’s untimely demise and said that he (Sushant) was born after so many prayers. He said, “4 ladkiyon main ek ladka tha. Aur jinke liye itni mannat maangte hain unke sath yahi hota hai. (We prayed for him a lot, for 3 years. He was our only son after 4 girls).”
When asked about Rhea and the wedding plans, KK Singh said that wedding plans where definitely on the cards but he denied to speak anything on Sushant’s rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. He, however, said that they only knew about Sushant’s ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande and she visited Patna after his death. He said, “Ha wo aayi bhi thi, Bombay bhi aayi thi aur Patna bhi aayi thi.”
Talking about the marriage plans, Sushan Singh Rajput’s father said, “Iss par baat hui thi, usne bola tha ki Corona me toh nahi, fir uske baad ek film aa rahi hai, wo karlenge, uske baad February-March mein dekhte hai karenge. Yehi last baat hui thi uske sath meri” (We had spoken about it earlier. He had told me that no in Corona but after film releases, he will plan about it in around February-March. This was the last conversation we had about his marriage).”
Sushant Singh committed suicide on June 14 at his residence in Mumbai’s Bandra. Mumbai Police is investigating the alleged suicide of Sushant and has recorded statements of several people including Rhea Chakraborty.
