Kung Fu Panda 3 to Release Two Months Early
ACTOR JACK BLACK WILL REPRISE THE ROLE OF LOVABLE PANDA PO
The release date of Kung Fu Panda 3 has been shifted ahead from March 18 to January 29, 2016, said The Hollywood Reporter.
Actors Jack Black, Seth Rogen, Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Lucy Liu, David Cross and Dustin Hoffman will reprise the roles of lovable panda Po, Mantis, Tigress, Monkey, Viper, Crane and Master Shifu respectively. Actors Bryan Cranston and Rebel Wilson will also voice other characters in the film.
The third film in the series was originally slated to release on December 23, 2015, but it was moved to March 18, 2016, after the release date of Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens was set for December 18.
The new date sets the 3D family film up against Sony’s The 5th Wave, starring Chloe Grace Moretz, and Disney’s drama film The Finest Hours.
