The actor who was supposed to have a grand launch for the movie’s trailer decided to change his plan and instead released it on a social media platform. So what prompted this? Should we say that the actor wanted to play it safe this time around? The actor was very well aware that he will have to face questions regarding a ban on Pakistani actors working in India. Instead of commenting his stand on it, it was advised that the actor avoids the grand launch.
At the press meet during the MAMI event yesterday when the actor was asked why he feels the Pakistani movie was banned from screening in this film festival, he merely said, ” I don’t know about this. Ask the MAMI organizers?” It is very rare for someone like Aamir to not voice his opinion on a current issue of our country but then maybe he believes in history should not repeat itself.
