Kiran Rao Rubbishes Rumours Of Aamir Khan Recommending Fatima Sana Shaikh For Thugs Of Hindostan
Since then there has been news that Fatima got the role because of the recommendation of Aamir Khan. Aamir and Fatima have not spoken about these rumours but there is someone who couldn’t stop talking about this.
Kiran Rao, Aamir’s wife has rubbished all the rumours of casting Fatima in Thugs Of Hindostan. She said that the Dangal star was cast based on her merit. She further added, “We don’t deal with casting. Aamir, Adi and Victor decided the casting so they must have given it a good thought because it’s a big film. There has to be merit or else they wouldn’t take risk with such a big film.”

Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the film also stars Katrina Kaif in lead roles. This is for the first time Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan are appearing together in Yash Raj banner. The film is still in the pre-production phase and the shooting of the film is set to start from June 1, 2017. The film is all set for the Diwali release in 2018.
