News of them sharing a stage spread like wildfire when Shah Rukh Khan made an appearance on Salman Khan-hosted ‘Bigg Boss 9’ last year, where the duo even recreated a scene from their celebrated film, ‘Karan Arjun’.
Now, several public appearances later, the foes-turned-friends are set to reunite before a live audience for the first of the award galas to celebrate cinema this year.
The Star Screen Awards will be held on December 4 at the MMRDA grounds, Bandra-Kurla Complex, and sources close to the development confess that the Khans were the first preferences of the organisers.
“The organisers went with a lot of trepidation, but to their shock, both the actors agreed to share the podium. There have been several interesting segments that have been lined up. Shah Rukh is known for his wit and Salman for his humour. Together, they will keep the audience thoroughly entertained.”
‘Baahubali’ actress, Tamannaah Bhatia will be one among a host celebrities performing at the event. She has already begun prep.
