In a shocking turn of events, Kavi Kumar Azad who is best known for playing overweight doctor Hansraj Hathi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has passed away.
Dr. Hathi died due to a heart attack at Mumbai hospital. The actor was not well for the last three days. He was admitted to the Wockhardt Hospital at Mira Road, Mumbai. Last night, he slipped into a coma.
The shooting of TMKOC has been canceled after they learned this sad news of Kavi Kumar’s sudden demise.
It is sad news for all the fans, as one of the most beloved characters on TMKOC breathed his last today. His presence will be missed! Our condolences to the bereaved family!
