This movie, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif is more focused on Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma while Katrina Kaif is only shown as a celebrity who appears for not very long on the screen! In the times of competition, this step by Katrina Kaif did raise quite a many questions and here’s Katrina Kaif herself answering as to why she agreed to work in the movie despite having a very less screen time!

Katrina Kaif effectively only has a screen time of 25 minutes in the movie Zero! On being asked as to why did she agree for the role despite knowing she has a less screen time, Katrina Kaif said, “I think you have to see the film in totality. Honestly, I had thoughts initially – someone’s screen time is more and I don’t need to do this. But both Aanand Sir and Shah Rukh were so insistent and persistent that this was something which they really felt was going to be important for me to do.”

“Aanand Rai is a director I have so much respect for and he seemed so certain that this was a journey he was not going to let me down on, one which was very important for me and I took that leap. It’s ok in a career which has been going on for some time, it’s ok to take a little step outside of what one normally thinks and see what happens”, added Katrina Kaif!
