Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2: This Ex-Bigg Boss Contestant To Play Anurag Basu’s Brother-In-Law

Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ is all set to get telecast from September 10 on Star Plus. Erica Fernandes is playing the role of Prerna and the romantic drama has replaced the comedy show ‘Har Shaakh Pe Ullu Baithaa Hai’ taking the 8 pm slot. The male lead playing Anurag Basu is yet to be revealed by the makers. As per reports, Parth Samthaan and Abhimanyu Chaudhary names were considered by the makers.Recent reports suggest that Sumona Chakravarti was approached to play the role of Anurag Basu’s sister Nivedita Basu and Sahil Anand will play the role of her husband in KZK 2. If you remember, Sahil entered Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 10 but was evicted from the show in two weeks. He also participated in MTV Roadies 4 and also appeared in ‘Student of the Year’.A report in IWMBuzz says that the ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ actor has been taken on board to play the role of Anurag’s sister Nivedita’s husband Anupam Sengupta. The role was originally played by Manish Goel. Kanupriya Pandit and Kali Prasad Mukherjee are playing Prerna’s parents in Kasautii Zindagii Kay.

Meanwhile, Shweta Tiwari, Urvashi Dholakia, Ronit Roy and Cezanne Khan, have already given a thumbs up to the show’s teaser.
