From walking for Manish Malhotra to his performance at IPL 2018 closing ceremony, Kartik Aaryan is making headlines in entertainment industry. Finally Kartik has bagged a film- Luka Chuppi in which he’ll be romancing ‘Rabbta’ actress Kriti Sanon.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the news on Twitter and wrote, “Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon teamed in #LukaChuppi… Directed by Laxman Utekar. Produced by Dinesh Vijan… The story travels from Mathura to Gwalior and Agra… Kartik enacts the part of the star reporter of a local TV channel… March 2019 release.”

Luka Chuppi will mark has Bollywood directional debut of Laxman Utekar. This is a first big project Kartik bagged outside Luv Ranjan’s camp. Kriti Sanon too expressed her excitement for Luka Chuppi via her Twitter post.

Earlier there was a buzz that Kartik Aaryan will colabaorate with Sushant Singh Rajput and Amitabh Bachchan for Aankhen 2. DNA quoted a source saying- “Talks with Sushant Singh Rajput and Kartik Aaryan are in the final stages. The rest of the names will be in place soon as well.” Also actor is reportedly in talks with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhasali for another romantic film.
On work front, Kriti Sanon is prepping for Ashutosh Gowariker’s Panipat, which goes on floors in November. Also she is working on Dharma Production’s film Kalank which also features Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan.
