Senior actor Rishi Kapoor has recently been in much controversy because of an incident that took place during the Ganesh Visarjan. Rishi Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor were targeted after the entire Slapgate controversy took place during their Ganpati visarjan. A video was circulated all over the internet which clearly showed Rishi Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor slapping a reporter during the Ganpati Visarjan on the road. However, the Kapoor family has rubbished all the allegations and instead have blamed the journalist for misbehaving with them. Although, Rishi Kapoor later stated that he didn’t slap the journalist.
A few days back, Rishi Kapoor and his brother Randhir Kapoor got into a controversy where they mistreated and manhandled a journalist during their Ganpati visarjan. Now, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan spoke about uncle Rishi Kapoor’s slap controversy to a popular daily. She said ” “I wanted to know what exactly happened. I don’t know what happened that day. There must have been something for him (Rishi Kapoor) to be upset. Otherwise, I don’t think a man of his stature would lose his cool.” The issue was highlighted when a video captured them pushing a journalist who was trying to get a picture of the Kapoor family. None of the members of the family apart from Rishi Kapoor came out to speak about the matter or defend themselves. But now it seems Kareena Kapoor Khan has something to say about what exactly happened that day. She further added that ” Since it was raining and there were many people, something must have upset him.”
